Hi there, this is my first post, and i dont even have my puppy yet, but just trying to research everything i can. My question is, how do EM do in water, swimming and water play?


somewhere in here is my future male, i cant wait to finally get to pick one out. this is at 1 week

Mastiffs generally have trouble swimming due to their weight, BUT i'm able to let my boerboel swim thanks to a life jacket, which helps hold her up. She likes the water, so it's nice for her to get to swim without sinking, lol

All of my mastiffs love playing in water, like the hose, sprinklers, running in and out of the water. Our one EM fell into the deep water and he surprising swam super fast, I think the biggest thing would be getting over tired. My bordeaux loves to swim, just hates baths lol

thanks, this was my main concern, as dogs ive had in the past always jumped into our pool or just ran head first into the ocean chasing waves.
