Vomiting

We still have one of the toys you made for Franklin, (I sent the other two with him but couldn't find this one at the time) and Penelope loves it! I think she would like a couple more and I will gladly send you some money through PayPal. :D I've never seen any kind of crocheted-type toys that last as long as these have.

Well I'm glad you brought it up. What does she like more: tugs or balls and squeaky?

This is what's left: download.jpg lol She really doesn't care about her toys having a squeaker and I think this kind of toy is her favorite.

Linda only if you have time and you want to do it. I haven't told Kismet yet, so she doesn't have her hopes up if you don't get around to it. :)

I've the exterior of one of the two that the boys got for Christmas left. It is one of Jiggers favorite toys still. It did last longer than normal but Kryten is determined that all squeakers must DIE and he did succeed.

I'm glad Kismet is feeling better. Just for future reference (if needed) I was told to give Jiggers Zantac when he starts vomiting. He has a sensitive system and even missing a meal can be enough to cause problems let alone eating something unusual. He gets 1/2 a pill of Zantac 75 when needed (75 lbs).

Thank you Smokey. I've written that down and taped it in the medicine cabinet.

Miss Kismet still doing ok this morning?

Thank you for asking. She is doing great. A little tired but back to her sassy little self. I think because she is so active that when she is sick you can really tell, that or she is a little diva. lol

Thanks Kris, I got a new camera 3 months ago and I still don't know how to download them onto the pc. I can't take myself away from Candy Crush long enough to figure it out.

Lisa, Kismet was a very emaciated rescue. We weren't looking to add any dogs but what can you say other than it was kismet. LOL

Kismet is back to her 100% annoying, lovable self. My dogs have always had access to a little cat food but we always set it up high when the dogs are in the cat room. One of the cats had spilled there bowl and we just didn't think anything about it. Other than great, Kismet will clean it up for us. Lesson learned. I would much rather sweep up cat food than clean up dog puke. LOl

I was a good girl Ruth, I bookmarked the manual. As I have gotten older and I no longer work, my power of concentration is almost zero. Add on top of it that the icons on the camera are so damn small that I'm not sure which one is which.

AB, while you have your camera out, can you sneak in a few pics of the rest of your pack, too?

Kane, Kismet, and I believe your cattle dog(?) ...anybody else I am missing? Some cats?

We miss them.

:)

Glad to hear she's doing better. You got lucky. My sister in law lost her rescue mixed breed to kidney failure after eating cat food. Her vet said the amount of taurine can be toxic.

What cat food was she feeding that contained toxic levels of taurine?? A 5lb bag of dry cat food shouldn't contain much more than 2.25GRAMS of taurine. A "normal" therapudic dose for a medium to large dog is 1.5-2grams a day! Plus its a water soluable nutrient, so it takes a seriously massive dose (or a dog with already failing kidneys) for it to cause problems.

Finally heard back from my sis in law. They don't what kind of cat food it was. It was a wacko neighbor that fed stray cats. Somehow the cat food pan got "pushed" under the fence where their dog got into it. We always suspected it was more than just the cat food but nothing was ever proven. Just to be on the safe side we've always been extra careful to keep all our dogs away from cat food, and cats since they don't make good squeaky toys.
