Update on Otis

Well it has been 2 months since this poor heap of a Corso came to us. I serious thought he might not make it there for awhile. He did not move from the pillow except to be carried out to do his business for a week, I had to hold his head up for him to eat also. Well, he is now a beautiful Corso boy with all the playful puppy attitude that he should have had since he is only 11 months old. He is a loving well behaved boy and might end up staying with us here with the rest of the clan! He adores everyone and is just happy to be alive. Attached is his first picture at my house and then a picture of him this evening.

I'm new to the board and wasn't here when you rescued Otis so I went back to find your original post. Wow. Those are some hard pics to look at. You've done a great job with him. He's a beautiful boy. Thanks for taking care of him.

I'm glad he's doing so much better, he looks like he's going to be quite the handsome boy when his coat grows all the way back. It amazes me how forgiving and accepting dogs can be, he obviously came from a very bad situation before you got him and yet it sounds like it has had zero effect on his personality. Be sure to keep up with the updates it's fun to see his transformation.

He looks a lot different with actual fur coming in instead of ... you know ... patches :(
Glad to hear he's got a little bit of pep as well, I'm sure he's relieved to be in a better place with people who are caring for him instead of just allowing him to exist. Great job!
