What a difference a week makes. Maya has been struggling with anxiety which I have posted about. She soils her bed when I go to work and at bedtime when I leave the room she starts crying after a few minutes. The crying doesn't last long but she does cry and howl a bit. Tonight we decided that since she does so much better when she is near us that we would try letting her sleep in our room on the floor next to the bed. My husband got up to get something to drink so she followed him out. Then refused to come back inside. I went to get her and what does she do? She strolls into her crate, sits down, and then wags her tail at me. I shut the door, said goodnight, gave her a shirt of min and then went back to bed. No crying, no howling, no nothing. I couldn't get back to sleep so came out and she is in there snoring up a storm. Go figure. Thinking it may be a fluke but I'll take it.
