Truffle oil for dogs?

One of my dogs has a lot of allergies so I probably wouldn't try this with him. I personally am also highly allergic to mushrooms (including truffle oil).

Wow! I never knew this was a thing?! What condition or circumstance are you tying to use this oil for?

Looking at the site you linked to I would definitely not use this for any of my dogs even if my dogs and I didn't have allergies. If I read this correctly these truffles have hallucination effects. I can only imagine that hallucinations would be extremely stressful for my dogs since I would have no way to explain the effects to them. I don't think you would want a hallucinating and frightened mastiff on your hands so I would say absolutely not and bad idea.

That was exactly what I thought. I had a cat have a VERY bad trip from mint leaves once (closely related to catnip). It was horrible watching her panicking at whatever she was experiencing knowing I couldn't do anything to help her. All I could do was make sure she never had access to mint again. A tiny 7lbs cat was hard to keep safe from herself I can't imagine a 200lbs dog like that.

I've only heard of using truffle oil for human food enhancement... like a drizzle over a steak or something... never for medicinal purposes. Interesting.
