A friend who rescues pulled a 5 year old Mastiff mix (150lbs.) that was an owner surrender to a kill shelter in Central/South New Jersey. The ACO frankly (and horrifyingly) stated he had planned to euthanize the dog as soon as the owner left, the dog was too big to bother with BUT the freezer was too full, and he had no room for the giant dog's body after he was PTS. So the big boy got another day, and was pulled by rescue! Please share/crosspost as this boy came so close to dying in indifferent hands.

Hunk a hunk a dog! Rolex is a big mushy sweet mellow kind of a guy. It was his good fortune that he was to big to fit in the freezer so the shelter didn't euthanize him right away. Well he is safe now and what a nice boy! He needs a home . So all you chubby lovers scoop him up! Contact Tammy at mattnbubba@yahoo.com if you need a big hunky guy in your life!
