"The Witching Hour"

Ever since Brodie was a tiny baby, she has had a witching hour where she just goes bonkers. Ussally it is 5-8 in the evening. I watch the clock so I know how much longer it will be before I can sigh in relief! Some days it sems to pass without incident. Here lately, watch out! Devilment ensues. I thought that after 14 months, she would die down a bit, and it has gotten a bit better. Still a scarey part of the day. Anyone else has the witching hour(s)??

Bear is the same and this is the only time of the day when the kids absolutely hate him. He tries to play and they tell him no then he barks at them until I step in and give him something to do. It is right after dinner so I need to start taking him for a after dinner walk to head it off I think.

Angus has 2 differnt times a day I'd cheerfully give him away! About 10 AM - his favorite game is annoy the Chihuahua. He'll pull off and run with whatever blanker she is curled up under. As soon as she chases him he drops it and waits for her to move to another bed and does the same thing - zooming around faster the more she barks. He'll also sit outside my husbands office door and whine - not a normal dog whine but a LOUD Chewbacca/Wookie trilling sound. My husband works from home and has had customers ask what the sound is - even though he uses a headset for the calls. He HATES closed doors.

The other is about 8 pm - nobody is safe from his zoomies - the couch and whoever is on it become his personal trampoline. Watching him dodge the coffee table and ottoman for my hubby's chair adds to the drama. Laptops, tablets, even glasses of wine have been victim to his antics, not to mention a good collection of bruises. It doesn't last very long but it is intense while it does!

Sasha has this howl that is so creepy, it starts out low and over the course of 30 seconds or so it ends up as a long wolf type howl. It isn't daily but when she does it, it is usually about 2 or 3 am, the first night it brought me out of the bed. It is so loud it wakes her up and she looks at me like I did it.

sometime between 5-7 pm - Jack is a different animal. He starts with some funny twisted jumps for approx half an hour (we can't stop him, we don't even try), then he runs for his life around the back yard several times before he collapses on a bean bag and starts snoring - in seconds.
