Great stuff! We're thinking about taking Tali to agility. She does an awesome crawl. Looks like a Navy seal!

Now that was something! That girl is one of my favorites! Yogi and I are still working on backing up... we are getting there, slowly but surely. I like your hand signal for backing up, right now, I'm still luring him and he's more focused on the treat, I'm not really sure if he's getting the point. I'll have to start fading the lure really soon to see.

I trained backing up exactly as in the video. I had something blocking one side and my body blocking the other side so she had no choice but move backward in a straight line. The only other thing I could suggest, depending on what Yogi is like. I also used to loop a leash around her stomach and held both ends of the leash. She had a tendency to want to sit, rather than move backward, but having a leash around her, I was able to control her almost like a puppet. When she want to sit, I held her up. I'll try to get a pic/video of what I mean. She also learned that she only has to back up 3 steps and her 3rd step would be really half assed, so now we're working on 4 steps, so that she does 3 good steps backward lol

That's great work. I can't imagine mine moving that attentively.

We do a lot of focus exercises and a lot of practicing. Whether we're out on a walk in a park, at home, at a friends place, at work etc... We practice. She getting to the point where she knows it doesn't matter where we are, or what's happening around us, she's to remain focused on me.

Good suggestion. I've used the loop leash around the waist to help train a stand stay, so that makes perfect sense. Yogi also wants to sit so that should help!

I'll have to buckle down and work more with mine. I doubt I'll ever get to your level, but I can do better than where we are now.
