  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

yes I thought it was me(not on dial up lol). But everywhere else I've been is normal. Also I'm having issues posting photos this morning. My previous tactics were not working...I had to use the

The ads were added to help us generate revenue to replace the broken software that Mastiff forums uses. We are going to migrate the forum to a more modern and stable software as soon as finances allow. The move to the new server broke a lot of addons that we have decided not to fix so that we can instead use any money generated by the ads to more quickly transition Mastiff Forum to the new platform. Some members have asked if they can contribute to this cause. We are grateful for any contribution anyone is motivated to make.

Okay, I understand, but what I don't understand is why do paying members like EverythingEnglishMastiff get ads when it's suppose to be one of the benefits of being a member?

My sentiments exactly. Also the add doesn't even fit the space properly. It looks a little unprofessional, like the ads on my site LOL. But I don't charge people for membership so they can deal with my stinkie adds =P

This is just in my unprofessional opinion, and I'm assuming the load times accompanied the ads. Would it not be better to provide a better user experience and promote membership, than to lessen the user experience and possibly drive otherwise potential premium members from doing so by adding ads that most likely are not being clicked by the regulars anyways? Also Who is deputy dog? Why no itro? Or did I miss it??

I don't understand. I'm on an old desktop with Windows XP and the latest version of Mozilla. I see no ads. None. Seems like everyone should have them. The only problems I'm having is that there are no paragraph breaks and I can no longer use the little arrows to hide the pics on the right side.

Hmm, so note to self. Don't renew premium, install windows xp and mozilla for an ad free experience. Dunno if it helps I've posted other places too. I'm using windows 7 and chrome.

Oh, and there are no formatting options for posting like bold, underline, adding links and pictures. I really can't complain much because I always just copied and pasted links and pic anyway.

Nope, all gone since the switch. Can't even put smiley faces lol.

Oh, yeah. I forgot. I just installed adblocker plus for mozilla last week. That's probably why I have no ads.

if you want to underline use without periods this; [.u]underlined[./u] bold is same but with a b and italicized is and i. The faces if you know how to type them with the characters also work. ;)
