Maybe you should consider changing his name to Clifford. :)

It doesn't really matter what anyone else says, he will be what he will be but I did get to see Rugers dad and he was 260 pounds of solid muscle......Not an inch a fat on him. Ruger isn't that big yet but he is built just like him. Ruger is really tight, well muscled and looks trim and 220 pounds.
Thanka guys, its so fun watching him mature. I sort of always expected him to finish around 240-250, and his breeder said his father was 250, I of course didnt see him on a scale, but now Im not so sure. On a few mastiff FB sites Im on the breeders say that mastiffs rarely get that big unless obese. And sort of laugh at the folks saying their dogs are 250 or higher.... I now live in fear of exaggeration and no longer measure Sullys heigth as its too difficult to get right.... That being said I know he is 30 inches tall presently as he touched the top of his 30inch tall crate... And truly, he is already a big dog, he could stop growing now and Id be happy with him.... And that I suppose is the end of my senseless ramble lol

Your right of course! Just makes you say hmmm if all of the breeders says that 250and up is really rare... Could I be way off in the size I expect Sully to be... And we dont care what size he gets, we wont love him any less if he stop growing now. Bit I still find it fun to look at growth charts.and imagine his end size. Sully, to my wye ia in great body.condition, when he is moving you.can see his last rib rippling under the skin...Some have PMd me on FB with the warning of him being to fat....they arent judging by pics, but by the weigth I mentioned... How they can tell he is fat just by a number is beyond me... He is just big, with thick bones...bones weigh alot I guess. But it gives me enough worry to 2nd guess myself, the laat thing I would want to do is place added strain on his developing frame. I hope Sully grows to be handsome like Ruger :)

This site is very difficult to post from my cell, and correcting errors is hard too, so I apologize for all of my typos.

8 month.pics... This is the best I could do, he ia going through a slighy fear stage right now and is afraid of dry erase markers, and apparently laundry baskets. The only thing that saved me was his very reliable "stay and look like the world is about to end" command.
