Ok so I work in the mortgage industry.... and with the job sometimes I have to go out of the office to meet with clients for signing....
Ok so I have already been to these clients house, very odd people to begin with.
I was very un-easy while I was there. So now I have to get them to resign because of issues.
I call him up to make arrangements to do a "phone" signing. He starts talking to me about not sure if he will be able to understand this is a big deal... Then he said to me ... it doesn't help having one of my very good friends trapped in the sex industry!!! Thats when I said call the police, and I do not have time to deal with this at all! I told him he best be getting the paper work signed and returned to me via fax or walk it into the lawyers office to have them forward it to me... That I do not have time to drive 45 minutes to see them sign again!

He wouldn't stop talking about this shit... I finally went... Look I do not have time to chat I have a client coming in the office right now ..... good bye and hung up

If there is no way around me not meeting him in person again I will take Bella with me! Sorry guys I guess Im just blowing off some steam.... SUCH FREAKY PEOPLE OUT THERE NOW OF DAYS!!!

Thank the good Lord I didn't rush down there to meet with these weird ass people again !

I'd maybe also take a human with you - to sit in the car with a finger on the 911 'send' button - as well as Bella - if you do have to go visit.

I've made arrangements with our lawyers office to use one of their board rooms....Our lawyer just happens to have his office just a couple blocks away from these weird people's house.....And I can bring Bella with me too.....My lawyers office is a great bunch of dog lovers too.

Wow! Freaky is right, and you did right to distance yourself and re-establish the professional nature of any future meetings. There are so many agencies available to deal with these "trapped sex worker" claims, and since I'm in your neck of the woods, I'd list Women's Community House, My Sister's Place, Salvation Army, and a division of the London Police Force which specializes in crimes against women in this area...this talking to you is entirely inappropriate and feels scammy. I'd turn the file over to a male associate if it was me, but it depends on the size of your operation, and factually, I'd worry about my male associate, too. Your client sounds unbalanced. Keep your guard up AND Bella close at your side. Would your father or husband be able to accompany you there and drive you home? I know I'd feel better.

Unfortunately there is only women in our little branch. My dad lives in your area. My husband is a traveling salesman, so I would doubt it if he could spare the time.
I'm trying to get these people to fax the papers to me. If that doesn't pan out I'll meet them at my lawyers office with Bella or have them travel to my office. I'll be keeping Bella close to me for sure.
