Sonja's at the Vet

Well, today Sonja is getting 4 lumps removed and getting a biopsy to see if they are cancer or not.

I am so nervous, it's so hard to concentrate at work today.

Sending you good thoughts.

I just went through the same thing with my dog a month ago. Keep us posted.

Sonja pulled through just fine. They had to modify the anesthesia due to her kidney problems we just found out about.

But other than that, she is fine. I had to put a t-shirt on her so she wouldn't bother her incisions. She looks so cute!! She slept all night with her head burried in my armpit!!

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the lumps are only sebaceous cysts. Nothing to worry about!!

But we did find that she has kidney failure. I got the vet to do some more intense bloodwork yesterday and he should be calling me sometime today with the results. After that we will talk about what course of action is necessary.

Keeping paws crossed for Sonja.

Sonja looks so darling in her tee shirt. Hopefully you'll be able to come up with an effective treatment for her kidneys.
