Okay, my name is Danielle & I am Zoe's mom, we live in High Point, NC. I love chocolate but try not to have it in the house. I feel like I am in limbo right now...Nutrition & Dietetics graduate trying to get into an internship with a 50% acceptance rate. Blah, I didn't get in last year so I will by applying again in February. I worked for 5 years as a WIC nutritionist & had to give up my job to finish my school work...so now, I am an assistant manager at a local high school cafeteria...I AM A LUNCH LADY WITH A HAIRNET...do you know how sexy that is?!? Let's just say I hope I get an internship this year. I love to cook, read biographies, travel & spend time with my family & boyfriend of 11 years. That wraps me up in a nutshell....now Zoe's picture!

Dear...I hope so! We have outlasted most marriages...he claims we already are! LOL...we live together & have a fur baby, but I beg to differ! I am hopeful this year too for an internship, I was given a lot of good feedback when I wasn't accepted last year...so I will keep all my forum buddies posted!

@angela why dawn as well i am intrigued!! Sounds like you have your hands absolutely packed! I love all your furry kids.

My mom didn't want me called Angie so they choose to use my middle name instead. I went by Dawn exclusively (except for government related documents) until I went back to school. There was another Dawn in my program so it was simpler to go by Angela to avoid confusion.

Dogs at work...I've only ever taken one at a time, but I've had my adult dane who passed in January, my English Mastiff foster, and then my two current dogs, the dane puppy and adult Doberman. Taking them to work never gets old!

Its nice getting to know whos behind the pups isnt it ! Wow that is unheard of over here, wish we had jobs like that, that we could bring our pups to work!!! Torgue is so so gorgeous hes giving me puppy fever! How old is he? Arghhh look at that little face!!!

Nothing wrong with lunch lady! Feeding young minds is as important as teaching them - if kids are hungry they can't learn. I worked several years as a nutrition director in both private and public schools over the years. Good luck on the internship - is it for dietitian certification? Seems the programs are getting fewer and the need greater in that area. Good luck - its a tedious process but well worth it in the end!

I'm Samantha, I love travelling I've been very fortunate with where I have been and experienced though out my life so far. I've lived in the states for a few years and traveled within while there on previous trips, the UK to as far as Wales, India trekked in Nepal went to NZ for a 2 week holiday came home 10 years later (with a husband Wayne lol) originally from Melbourne now live in "paradise" (Brizvegas) love it here......, I'm a nurse, a wife, a mother to 2 exceptional sons (Rick & Leigh) thats where my "ripnlee" comes from but that's a whole new story , 2 gorgeous daughter-in-laws (Skye and Tarah) and the most adorable grandchildren Ryder who is nearly 6 months and Jordon 9 years. I enjoy photography, music, movies mainly comedy, I love to entertain at home love to cook drink and laugh and last but no way least mum to my 2 beautiful fur children Zach & Bella who I love madly they are the apples of my eye they are ridiculously and outrageously spoilt but I don't care :lolbangtable: I love them and they love me!

Certificate you can say....after the internship you are then qualified to take the state boards to become a Registered Dietitian...similar to nurses. I know it's super important to provide quality nutrition for children & to start them earlier. My high school kids don't get my passion but one day they will. I love the job...and certainly like I will be off for two weeks after next week! So looking forward to that! The internships in particular are insanely competitive...too many RD's in the field not wanting to mentor & proctor interns once they are out in the field. I can't wait to return the favor one day to other kids wanting to become registered. I will keep on trucking...it's what I am so passionate about!
