Six month old English Mastiff female puppy underweight?

Hi! I have a six month old English Mastiff named Bess. I got her when she was twelve weeks old. I am concerned about her weight although she is healthy it seems that she should weigh more. I brought her to the vets just the other day and she weighs sixty five pounds. She isn't a huge eater and I am not sure what route I should take as far as adding canned food to her dry food or what not. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Some Mastiffs are slow growers and then some are just going to be smaller in general. You don't really want to pack on the LBs when they are young as it can lead to joint issues and strain on their bodies. Slow growth really is ideal for them.
What are you feeding her?
Where you able to see her parents and their size?
Don't be shy about showing us some pictures either! ;)

Yeah I have been told not pack on the lbs due to the fact that it could cause them health issues. I have been feeding her Holistic Select Giant Breed Puppy. I did see her parents. The dad weighs 230lbs and the mom weighs 125lbs. I will be posting pics in just a minute.

Yup, there ya go. Females usually follow their mothers size. And of course boys learn towards their dads. Nothing to worry about. :)

65 isn't even very off a normal or average weight of an em at 6 months, it actually seems almost exactly right for a female...I think you may just have been expecting your puppy to be 100+ too fast. Many mastiff owners do. I've seen 2 mastiffs personally that were 55-60 lbs at 6 months (both males so considered "underweight") that weigh 200+ today....so I wouldn't worry at all. My newest puppy EM Zeus is only 68lbs at 5 and a half months old

She is my first English Mastiff and I have been studying up on the breed and in most of what I read they are saying that at six months she should weigh 80-85 lbs and that's why I was concerned. It is good to know that this is not necessarily true :) I measured her shoulder height yesterday and she is 24" tall. Is this also an average height?

Those weights sound right for a male em but everything I've ever read shows female EMs at smaller weights ie like usually 10 pounds less than what You stated so I assumed she was barely Behind the average weights
