I'm sorry for the late reply, I have a video of him showing temperament at 7 months so i was debating if I should upload it or not since I don't like to make claims without any evidence. I wanted you to see and be the judge. His temperament is great, with family hes very affectionate and is quiet wary of strangers. Again I apologise for the late reply.

I'm curious as to why breed types are a bad thing? Look at the JR and Border Collies, AS, BK's etc, so many different types but many perform their job just the same with minute differences.

duestche it leads to fragmentation of the breed for example the Indian mastiff has 10 different types in Pakistan which is BS there is only one type which is a sight to behold very majestic and can be found in India in states of Punjab or rajasthan. the reason there are 10 types is because dog fighting is a part of life in Pakistan so they want to try to improve the dog; mix and match but still want to keep the lineage or history of the indian mastiff (Bohli Kutta) that alexander talked about when it is just a mutt.
I loath the term bully kutta as that is not the correct name or term. Anybody that knows the history of the dog knows its bohli kutta meaning dog with alot of wrinkles or wrinkly dog.

Oh he was not trying to agitate her. We had been standing there talking for about 30-45min. That was like the 10th time he bent down to let her smell him. I was trying to get a vid of her mean mugging him. She was just starring his ass down.Of coarse the one time I record it she bites. ahahahaha. Meeting my nephew was interesting to say the least. Thanks Trojvan, I was hoping he would answer but I guess not. I don't want to hijack your thread on the matter. But using the BK as an example ( have quite in interest in the breed too I never saw anything wrong with the different types personally From what I understand there are several "types" I always preferred the the "Ancient" type myself but considering what these dogs were used for I guess what works.

Again though I won't hijack your thread. I see nothing wrong with your boy's sire but I don't know much about Fila Conformation, other than a high ass :grin:

Please consider getting a leather lead. I know from experience a fila can pop nylon or most anything else. Especially, in traffic like that.

angel that video is about 2 to 3 months old. I have a leather lead for both dogs now i didn't want to get the leather at the time as he loved chewing on the leash. As soon as he learned not to i bought the leather leads.

filas dont really drool. Ive had several that only drool after they eat/drink and even that is minimal. those that have those extra loose jowls like ems and neos drool but that isnt normal at all.
