Serbian defensive dog

Thank you. SDD is a young breed, which progresses rapidly, SDD is primarily a guard dog, who is loyal to the family. Now there are more and more uniform dogs, and by that I mean the character and appearance. They are physically strong and stable dogs. They are aware of their strengths. Here you can see the show that recorded by the Russians, which speaks of the Serbian Defense Dog.

Love the brindle and the black one looks all business. So what exactly are their temps? Are they like a fila in that they basicly hate strangers or are they more aloaf or maybe even friendlier?

I can tell you how my dogs react in some situations. When they are alone in courtyard, without me,they react aggressive to people and dogs who try to get in.When they are with me,they not attack, but they will be ready to attack.During the walk, they do not react to other dogs or people, but carefully monitor the situation and respond if necessary.Overall, SDD is aware of his power, not to attack without provocation. So,they react when they threatened. They love kids, loyal to the family.

Good info. Are these dogs in these vids working off command, drive, or are they trained on a sleeve? The last vid I see the guy waving the stick but most of them it seemed the dogs were just on either the guy or the sleeve.

On these clips they do sleeve training. We have more footage and pictures of the SDD, which will post here. For Sdd is important to be fearless, guardian, stable dog, who does not attack without reason.

As I said, SDD will attack the stranger only if stranger attack me or my family. In other case, they carefully follow the stranger, do not attack, but they are ready to attack if necessary.

so what would happen if a stranger comes up to you very calmly with a gun and calmly asks you for your money?... that is how people get robbed in broad daylight.

Lol ain't that the truth. I don't want to think about giving a command or waiting on the dog to react. I want the dog on top of the guy before I even see him. Otherwise what is the point other than having the dog for show. Call me paranoid but the fila temp is for me.

Does anyone remember "Hex"? he was the dog of the president of the north American schutzhund club and was a sch 3 GSD (I believe). He was loose in his front yard, a van came by put the dog in the van and drove away...ARRGHH! there was no noise, no shouting, no barking. apparently these thieves just acted calmly and w/o a command the dog was as good as theirs. Now I know that schutzhund is not the same thing as real PP but DAMN! he couldve at least barked. This being said I have the most respect for any dog/trainer that can get such robot like attention and there is times when that level of canine obedience is necessary (walking around in a crowded park or neighbor's kid runs right out of no where) all I am saying is that for me that instinct better kick in when I cant give a command (get knocked out), when I'm not home (wife and kids home alone or sleeping) or when I dont see it coming (coming at me from behind while out for a run).

As I said, the dog is monitoring the situation, in that case, will respond to my command or without command if stranger hits me or yell on me.In such a situation no one can not be calm, and the dog feels it.So they behave like that when I am with them.In case I am not with them(dogs), a stranger tries to get into the courtyard, the dogs respond immediately and attack if necessary.

The important thing about SDD is that it is not a recognized breed by the FCI (Fédération Cynologique Internationale). Neither the owners nor the breeders do not want to SDD be recognized breed. We believe that the recognition of the breed will have negative impact on further development of the breed.Recognition would most affect the character of SDD and for SDD character is very important thing.Once again, the SDD watchdog, who will do anything to defend family.
