[Leonidas' keeper]

For the first time this week Leonidas NOT ONLY finished his dinner but he wanted MORE FOOD!! I refilled his dish with another scope of dry and the rice mix I give him.. The dish is SPOTLESS!!

Look at my "fat" baby!!

So thankful he is eating normal again!! Fingers crossed that this continue !!

Leonidas did not eat very well yesterday... Just picked at his dish full of food... Hopefully this will get better! He looks hungry to me but won't eat ... Should I change his food? Or stay with the same routine ? I'm unsure if a change will push him back into a deep depression...

This might be a time to give him some added treats in his food. Maybe add some chicken, beef, or other cooked meat. He's probably still in mourning.

He will eat when he's hungry as long as he is healthy. Is he drinking, pottying and playing ok?

He gets cooked meat at night with his dry and raw alone in the morning... He eats when he is hungry, but seems slim to me.. I added some yogurt tonight .. It's still sitting in his dish.. I'll try pumpkin in a bit (he loves my pumpkin ice cream!! Just a taste is all he gets through) ...
He plays just fine! Goes for walks with me and swims...
He didn't go by her grave today... Just went out front to potty and play with the other dogs.

It is normal for dogs to go thru a grieving process just as we do. Hang in there.

Leonidas is ratting again.. Not a full meal but more then before.. He hasn't been by her grave in a few days.. I guess that's good !!
