Puppy has hiccups a lot.

Hey guys, well my 4 month old puppy has been hiccuping lot lately... More so then a "normal" puppy would. My GSD did it a lot, but this puppy seems to have at least 1 episode of hiccups a day that last about 3-5 minutes. This has been going on for the past week or so. She still is playful, happy and energetic, so i haven't worried to much. So my question, should I call my vet or is this a normal thing for a CC puppy?

Bunchy did the same thing for the first two months or so after we got him until he was around 4 or 5 months. I remember thinking it was odd also as it would happen all the time. Sometimes he would also get the hiccups that happened in quick succession so it worried me a little. I didnt even realize it stopped happening until one day he hiccuped and I realized it had been a while since he had one. I wouldnt worry as long as hes keeping food/water down when he has them.

My puppy was the same, she had lots of hiccups everyday sometimes multiple times a day then all of sudden they stopped. She's 7 months old now and doesn't hiccup at all.

Both of my CC's had excessive hiccups when they were young, they both grew out of it.

Max still gets hiccups! He's a year old. Usually in the mornings. He had them several times a day until about 6 months.
