Presa Canario x Cane Corso mix weight

Hi everyone! Im new here. In just a few weeks i will be picking up my presa canario x cane corso mix. After looking for a full blooded.presa i decided to give this pup a home even though i dont really agree with backyard breeding it still happens and they need homes. He is currently 5 weeks and weighs 7lbs. NO I DO NOT HAVE HIM YET. But i do get weekly updates from breeder. Is this a good weight? Do you guus feel that this mix will be over 100 lbs?

Here are the parents. Father is a cane corso 130 lbs and mother is a fawn brindle presa canario and she is sitting at 100 lbs.

Hi and welcome to the forum, that pup is adorable, yes not a bad weight for the pup. Also how old is mum and dad at that weight they dont look cery old so may have more ro grow themselves.

They parents actually look like pups themselves which is scary. They also aren't great representations of either breed but with a mix knowing if a weight is on par is a bit more difficult. Other factors like number of pups in a litter, parents genetics, food quality, times they are fed a day, etc. can all play a part. That being said, with a litter of 11 I think mine were a couple pounds heavier at 5 weeks, but again... genetics.

There is no way of telling unfortunately. Especially for a mixed breed. The best guess would be close to the size of the parents.

UPDATE*

ACTUALLY, I was wrong about the weight. In
thought she was weighing in kg. The pup is actually 3.2 lbs....this really weirds me out and i dont know if i trust this whole deal now. 3 lbs is very small for a 5 week old mastiff pup....ANY THOUGHTS PLEASE HELP.

Yeah I have puppies that are born at least a pound and some get close to 2 lbs, so for these two breeds I would not be comfortable. To be fair I also don't believe in supporting people who aren't doing proper health testing and ensuring correct temperament on parents, especially of working breeds.
