We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.
Well again just talked to the vet and he is going to lose some skin on the leg, from the infection and swelling the skin died and he may need a skin graft. They need to see how the area presents itself when the dead skin comes off. We are still going to bring him home on Sunday and then take him to the specialist facility here to have an assessment. I'm hopeful that it will heal in time and he won't need surgery, but we should know more in a week or so.
I am so glad to hear that Jake is improving and will be back with you soon. I can imagine how scary it was to go through this and how horrible it is to have him away from home. I hope he heals without a need for surgery.
So glad he's going to be ok. Healing prayers still coming your way. I know he'll feel so much better after he gets home. I know he misses his human parents.
