Thanks musicdeb, could i just ask, what epi pen does?

Epi pen is a straight shot of epinephrine to prevent anaphylaxis shock in a severe allergic reaction. I'm not sure if pups can use it that why I wanted you to ask your vet.

Thanks Hector, Becks was much worse than that, it protruded about 2inch and it was actually a tube, not a bump. i hope its all over now though, he's had enough pain to last him a life time.

Holy...well at least you got him all fixed up and hope it never happens again. I wonder what caused it because he is pretty young.

I have to go back to the Vet on the 12th, unless he prolapses again, then it will of course be sooner. I will try to remember to ask her, the trouble is my memory is shockingly bad, but i will try.

It looked like a red cherry poking out of his butt when I lifted his tail or when he tried to poo, which he couldn't because he was in a lot of pain.

Sorry for the late reply Hector, the photo you posted is exactly how Beck started off, but in no time at all he had a full prolapse.

A late reply, I'm in America.

Felony flats- Where I grew up the well-to-do lived in the West Hills.
Living on the hills was characterized by well appointed houses, great views, and little (visible) crime.

The not so affluent were denizens of the flats (flat land).
They were relegated to little boxy houses, no views, and an excessive population of felons engaged in felonious activity, ergo-Felony Flats.

A bit of unthinking, casual, classism from the early 1960's.
Now the term is generally used in a tongue in cheek manner.
