So I'm enjoying the feedback and post from members of the mastiff-forum although I have noticed some of the breed specific categories don't get a heavy amount of traffic. I've learned it's better to post in the general mastiff categories to get quicker and higher response rates.

That being said, if I were to pick one other doggy owner forum to join and participate in, which would you all suggest? I'm heavily leaning towards a Cane Corso puppy at the moment and learning a lot about.

A simple google search came with these top two results:

- top of list

- next one on the list and not the minor addition of an "s" making it plural. not sure who tried to copy who....

If you want to have as much interaction as possible join all of the forums. You will learn quickly enough which ones you like and which ones you don't.

People will still respond to posts in the breed and other sub-categories but it might take longer. It just depends on who is online and when. :)

Facebook has lots of mastiff groups with lots of members. However, since there are so many members, lots of the advice can be bad and people can get very argumentative. I like this forum best.

Facebook groups for corso are a catch 22, most of them are started by people who have been in the breed 5 minutes and know it all. Very few understand structure, temperament, or health screening and often fall to heavy posting of puppies for sale and pictures where you are never allowed to post anything negative. If you join any of them understand that it can be harsh and that you have to take things with a grain of salt.

Yup, a lot of backyard breeders posting and advertising on FB. The responses they get there are generally positive too, which is really frightening.
