He's about 185 when we checked a few weeks ago and just over 17 months old. He is still the best sweetest baby :)

Awww...that is one smoochable, kissable face!

So it looks like he might be over 200 pounds when he's done growing...?

Ha! I think so too! His growth has really slowed down attbis point but 200 was the guess from the beginning. His dad/mom were 220/175 so it makes sense! He really doesn't seem that big at all haha but I'm sure everyone feels that way!

Oscar is 20 months old now! I haven't weighed him in a while but I think he's in the 190s. I may pop into the vet later and see so if we have a successful trip, I'll post an updated number!

Thane weighed in @ 170 on his first birthday. When I look at him I see a rather small dog. Others, not so much. Must be the perspective of being around him daily. ;)

It's so true! Oscar was 170 at one year too! Why size were Thane's parents? I looked at Oscar today and said you're so small! I just can't see it haha

Thames Mom was 185 and Sire was 220. I'm hoping he'll finish around 210 - 220. Most likely he will end up around 200 or so. Time will tell.

Oscar has a massive head (in a good Mastiffy way.) Did much of that size come after his first birthday? I'm a 'lil excited and looking forward ts seeing how Thane grows from here on.

Well once again you guys have proven that I have mini-mastiffs. They are both 1 today and Sage weighed in at 103 and Bella at 90.

Hahah thanks! I love it "in a mastiffy way" :) Oscar was officially weighed in at 190 lbs. he's only gained 20lbs in 8 months since his first birthday but he has filled out quite a bit. I can see a big difference in his head and chest since then so only 20 lbs is crazy! We might get 10 more lbs before he's done but maybe not! Either way is fine by me :).

190 pounds at only 20 months...you will definitely see him over 200; mastiffs don't really finish growing and filling out until 3+ years. :)

It's so funny when people see Mateo (125-ish at one year; 143-145 pounds now, fully grown and stable weight) and say, "Wow! That's the biggest dog I've ever seen!!!"--- because I think of all you guys with EMs; Mateo would seem like a small pup compared to them, LOL.

Oscar is looking great!

Hahah thanks! It doesn't seem possible to hit 200 but we'll see! Mateo is a stocky 145! It's all head :) hahaha

Their growth can surprise you. Kryten was 185 lbs from about 20 months until just before he turned 4 when he started putting on weight again. Last weight was 200 lbs.

That's pretty much what Kryten's parents were. I was hoping for 220 lbs simply because he would have been 100 kg but given his elbow problems the leaner I can keep him the better. 200 is more than big enough for a lap dog.
