SAB Mastiff



No rescues, no out of state "adopters", but moving next week so she needs a new home....oh, and she's intact....

I can honestly say this is the first time I've seen a BB on Craigslist up here, though I don't always check either. Poor thing's 7yrs old, looks 10+, has clearly been bred, and now her owner is ditching her "cause they're moving"

Lets limit any potential GOOD adopters by setting so many rules. Hope she finds a good home.

You're right- the dog looks about 10, not 7...not very well cared for. And she does look sad.

The whole thing sucks.

Can't blame them on the rescues, but the idea of "love 'em and leave 'em" sucks I feel bad for the BB.

Some rescues suck, but if you seriously only have a week before you HAVE to move, and you really seriously CAN'T take the dog, especially with an older dog where you have to be a bit picky about the home due to the dog's requirements, a decent rescue is a heck of alot better than leaving everything to the last minute....

I'm thinking maybe they didn't want to deal with the "speech" and "tongue lashing" along with it. Don't get me wrong its plainly obvious they are trying to get money.

Tongue lashing or not, if you really care about the dog, refusing help from a rescue with a week to go is stupid....

That poor girl. As some others have said, the more I get to know people, the more I like my dog.
