New at raw, my routine and experience :)

Hello again I wasn't sure if I should start a new thread, but here is some more of my experience if anyone can help me...

Waffles has been on raw chicken, bones, liver for a month now. She took to it really well her poops looked great. She had a weird moment about 2.5 weeks into it of diarrhea for 2 days, but I just think maybe she got into something without me seeing or maybe someone fed her something, because it went away and her poops are back to normal.

The reason I switched her to raw from kibble (lamb and random grains and things) was because she was itching her ears so bad it became raw n bled a little. The vet gave me ear wash, and some pills for the rash in her hears to go away, which worked and then I switched her to raw, and then the pills ran out... slowly but surely her itching came back... it is no longer IN her ears, but on the back of her ears and the top of her head like under the fur. looks like little bumps and if she scratches too much itll bleed. There isn't any other bumps anywhere else on her body and her poops look just fine. Small and Solid. No diarrhea. No (stinky) farts- although her butt still makes noises. She is odorless which is great- before on kibble she used to have a really stinky musky smell even on her fur if you'd pet her it would transfer the smell to your hands, but not anymore. Her coat looks great, she isn't shedding as much. She has no fleas (she gets a topical med and I check by combing once a week)

Could the bumps mean shes allergic to chicken? or something environmental? mites?
Besides the bumps and scratching on her head, she seems really healthy and looks really good.

It could be either environmental or food related. If it is food related and you decide to change proteins, it can take 2 to 3 months for the allergens to work their way out of the body and see results. Also, any accidental feeding of the allegen can throw everything out of wack.

You can get an allergen panel done on her and that could give you some answers.

IMO sounds more like mites that have migrated if there are bad bumps. Trip to the vet would be a good idea so they can do a scraping. Gunky ears after switching to raw,as they work the "bad stuff" our of their system, is somewhat common.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions. I did kind of think they could be mites, like I angered them when I was doing the ear wash or something and maybe that they did migrate.
I also felt it could be environmental so I have been cleaning my house little by little after work and will be doing a deep cleaning on the weekend. It has been quite dry and dusty where I live.

My boss suggested Malaseb Shampoo for skin conditions/mites/rashes ect, but I don't think I can keep up with the washing twice a week and leaving it in for 10min honestly, she is too crazy during bath time because she likes to play too much.. so I ordered the Synergylabs pet spray with the same type of active ingredients and it seems to help SO much with the itching at least.

I am hoping with a combination of the spray and deep cleaning my home it will make a difference (also I am going to add local honey to her food once I can get to the farmers market this weekend), if nothing gets much better I will have to take her to the vet next week- which she HATES. : (
