  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Never a dull moment!

Ok I'm starting to believe I'm going to enjoy my little mini have holiday in the hospital next week...lol ok so we're getting a nice strong wind storm. So far we've had an old tree come down on one of our back buildings....no boggy we are going to take it down this summer anyways..... Looks like may have to be done sooner then later. And our old TV antenna was blown over.

And yes that is our power line under it....geeeesh! I could so use a couple of. Orine days now please! lol

And that's just 1/2 the tree.

Rough wind storm...I really thought we were in for a tornado. Glad you didn't lose your power. My sister lives near the university and her whole neighbourhood was out. I ran up there with supplies so that she at least could navigate with her husband who is quite old and frail. Played cards by lantern light and got my ass whooped again. Grrr!

I guess the thunderstorms they were predicting skirted London (whew!), but Toronto got it bad. Still, no tornadoes that I've heard of, thank God.

As for Bella hiding from the storm...I'd take it as a sign and head to the storm cellar! I know that Bailey had me up throughout the night before, pacing and acting weird, so, I was really anxious when the winds whipped up. One of my co-worker's dogs did the same thing, so I was worried all day fretting as the storm clouds gathered. That it has passed, I am truly grateful.

Thanks April, you’re right it could have been a lot worse. Percy and I were outside today in beautiful weather cleaning up. So we lots our TV antenna no big deal. And we lost an old large tree out back... it snapped off 1/2 way up and landed on one of our old carriage house / shed. We’re planning on dismantling this building anyways.... Mother Nature decided we need to get to it a little sooner then planned lol

Hurricanes oh that sounds just as much fun as tornados

Hey Shelia, did everything go well removing the debris ?

Well so far we're good the antenna was removed... internet guy came and fixed my internet .... that was the real killer I had to go into the office to work.... geepers! that was just awful .... I had to get out of my pjs and get dressed in my office work cloths lol

We're so far removed 2 cords of wood and have about another 2 to go.... good camp fire wood if anyone wants any..... 2 cords are dry and chopped and ready to go.... Thinking maybe I should try selling this to the local campers down at Whitemans creek :p
Silver lining in every cloud I guess :D
