What is your adult Mastiff's neck size and what type of collar do you use?

Right now Mason has a nylon choke he wears for his daily walks. He also has a plastic prong which I should be using more regularly, but it's such a pain to put on and take off 8x+/day, so I end up only using it for training. He also has a snake chain choke collar for showing. I was using a seperate collar for his tags, but he's already grown out of three adjustable collars, so I'm just attatching them to the nylon choke lately. I can't wait for his neck to be done growing, or at least growing veeery slowly so I can get him a really nice leather collar.

Both our dogs aren't full grown yet but were using plain ole martingales until they are full grown and then well get them some nice leather collars. Tess is pretty much there but Azzy just keeps on growing so we don't want to invest too much just yet.

If you can spend the money, I love Blockydog Collars. http://www.blockydogs.com/ Reed makes excellent collars that will last forever, you can wash them and scrub them and they look great. Rocco has had his for about a year and Astro had his for about 4 years before he passed away. And she just started making puppy collars! So excited about that ;)

For the prong collar, look at getting one with a quick release, they're MUCH easier to put on and take off. I use a rolled leather collar for Apollo's tags, he's almost out grown his current one, then I'll have to order another. We do have a martingale (nylon) that we sometimes use instead of the prong collar depending on the situation. And of course the show collar we just got.

I use a padded deerskin leather collar, but I'm looking into getting him a nicer leather collar - maybe with his name etched into it.

I'm picky about collars which is why I am surprised I found and LIKED the one that Thor has. All the other collars look like necklaces on our guys :D

Our male is a year, his neck is 27inchs right now and I just ordered a 33 inch for future growth: Leerburg | Herm Sprenger Chrome Fur Saver Collar (this is the style, had to order the 33 from over sea's).

Our female is 4 1/2 months, growing out of collars pretty much every 2/3 weeks.. been using regular style chokers that we used on our male. I'm not a fan of a dog having a wear mark around their neck from a collar.
