Neapolitan Mastiff Breeders

Hi all,

I'm looking into purchasing a Neo sometime next year and after doing some research over the past month or so, I feel confident in saying that I can responsibly own one. That being said, I don't want to make a bad decision regarding breeders and I'm looking for some sort of direction in making a good choice. I'm located in Northern Nevada but will to travel or ship. Cost is not an issue – I want to find a well bred dog, not a cheap one.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Well bred meaning free from joint/hip/eye issues? Look for 2yr (even better is 3yr) guarantees.

Place emphasis on a breeder who puts the health and structural soundness of the animal than the relentless pursuit of Best in Show and conformation titles.

The overdone "typey" neos bred for excessive size and wrinkle are typically more prone to health issues then others. Explore. Ask questions. And good luck.

I'm in the same position as you and have started researching breeders--will share what I find and would love to hear what you find as well.

look for someone breeding sound , solid , tight bodied , good moving , fully adult dogs , the older the better . good clear skin ears and eyes ..... no signs of allergies . personally i'd stay away from excessive wrinkle , especially on the body ........

Im in the same boat. Looking to get a puppy in the spring. Ive just been emailing multiple breeders asking questions. i notice alot of them offer 2 year health guarantees

Look up Lindsay Tornabene, Jessica Stites, and Mastini Mayhem on facebook. I'm not sure if Jessica Stites owns Mastini Mayhem. I have no experience with these people or dogs, but have been following when they post.

I just googled Mastini Mayhem kennels and thats exactly what im looking for. Their dogs seem to be bred for health and not just over wrinkly looks. I sent them an email about upcoming litters
