My protector

Last night after I went to bed, 2 of my nephews friends came up. Lillie ran to the living room, barking as usual then came running into my bedroom, jumped on the bed and stood over top of me. I was lying on my side, she had her front legs on one side of me and her back legs on the other side of me. She never sleeps with me but when I woke up this morning she was still there.
I feel so safe. :D

No better breed then a mastiff type dog to keep you safe! :) I've got two english masttifs, and I feel very safe! :)

Do they just automatically protect you? Because my English mastiff doesn't show any sign of protection

How old is your Mastiff? Lillie is now 15 months old. I don't know for sure but I'd guess it just comes naturally for some. Please someone, correct me if I'm wrong.

My couch is in front of my living room window, Lillie stands on it to look out and bark. She looks 7 ft tall from the outside, anyone would be an idiot to try to cross that. lol

LOL our couch is in front of the living room window too, but mostly Ebony sits on it human-style and throws her head over the back to look outside. She doesn't bark at people or other dogs UNLESS they get as far as the front door ... then it's on!

If it wasn't for my sister's Yorkie I don't think Lillie would bark half as much as she does. That darn Yorkie gets everyone started!!!
