My dogs first time breeding

So I don't know if it's okay to discuss this but I need to know. I'm writing this in front of my dogs Mufasa & Sakura, it's both first time breeding that I know. Right now they are stock and I don't know how long it have been. So my question is do I need to be cornered if they stay too long, can it cause problem? When will I know if she got pregnant? Will really appreciate the help

I suggest you be very sensible and learn very quickly what you need to be doing. I don't mean to sound rude but too many people think it's easy to have a litter of pups then the poor dogs and pups suffer.

It's disturbing that you have to ask such a question when the act of breeding has already taken place. Breeding takes research, dedication and knowledge of ALL aspects. I'm concerned and hope you can educate yourself for the sake of the likely litter of puppies you have produced.

First to address your immediate concern: Getting stuck together is normal. It typically can last up to 30 minutes. Do not try to separate them if this happens. Do make sure the dogs remain calm. You don't want the female to panic and cause injury to herself or the male.
Once they do separate, which I assume has already occurred, make sure the male's penis has gone back down.

I am not going to reiterate what everyone else here has said since you may have already gotten your dog pregnant.
Please find a vet you like and trust and be sure to stay in communication with them regularly. If the breeding aspect is something you don't understand then you have a much rougher road ahead of you if this breeding was successful and you will need the resource.
If you can find someone willing to mentor you I would also advise that as well. You can also do some research on your own. There are a lot of resources out there. Do your homework for the sake of your dogs.
