Michigan Breeders

I am hoping I can get some help from some bully owners on this forum. I am looking for another bully and I want a reputable breeder that is in reasonable driving distance from Michigan. I lost my bully last fall and I miss Lamassu dearly. I am now ready to put my energy and love into another one. I cant say enough about the breed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for helping a newbie.

Have you considered a rescue?

Of course. I guess my problem is that I dont know of enough resources to find many bully rescues in my area. I have been on pet finder and I havent found anything that interests me. My other consideration is that I have a very curious 1 year old at home now and I worry about interactions between a rescue and our toddler. The baby is already good with dogs because of her interactions with my wifes tolerant and loving German Shepherd. I did a great job training my last bully and I know what to expect with a bully puppy, adolescent and adult. This gives me some level of comfort when it comes to having a baby and a puppy at the same time. I guess I feel like a puppy is a blank slate and I dont want to have to blame anyone else but my self if there are any bad interactions. With all that being said I am still open to a rescue but it will have to be the right dog. Please forward any rescues to me if you can. Thanks again!

ABARS - American Bullmastiff Association Rescue Service - is nationwide. Not only will they help you find a rescue locally, they might transport one from a distance away if they feel the fit would be right. There's a link to each representative by state here:

Rescue - American Bullmastiff Association

If you're still looking for a breeder I would second Newcastle, TNT, & Ishana. I'm not familiar with Pandora. Good luck; I'm sure you will find the right fit.

Ok so I know this thread is really old, but we got Mario from Hillcrest Bullmastiffs in Indiana (south of Bloomington). Like you we have 3 little kids in the house (at the time 5, 3, & 2) so we knew we wanted a little puppy to have that blank slate of a dog. We have adored him- he's phenomenal won't all kids, dogs, people he meets. He spoons almost every night with our 8.5yr old male Shih Tzu (sometimes giving the big bed to Oscar & he curls himself into the tiny one). At the kids soccer games he's easy going let's kids pet him & can easily ignore & walk past a pit going crazy at the sight of him ;)
These breeders don't show anymore but we liked them a lot & would/most likely will buy our next one from them too.
Just a thought if you were willing or able to travel to a border state.
