Mastiff puppy weight question

Im just curious if any Mastiff owners can recall how much their puppy weighed at 9 wks..I currently have a 9 wk old puppy that is 24lbs his legs are like tree trunks and he seems like he will be big and is bigger than my first mastiff...Can anyone tell me how he compares to their dog?

My English male was 22 lbs at 9 weeks. Also - I wouldn't put a lot of weight into growth charts. Every dog will grow at his own pace. Our last female English Mastiff was the runt of the litter. She was well under all the weights that were listed on the growth charts but she continued to grow and add weight until she was 2+ years old. She ended up a very lean and muscular 165lbs and was as tall as most males.

Mickey I have an English...Yea I'm not really stressing out over his weight I was just kinda curious because he has huge bones and his paws are huge. Jen how much did your Mastiff end up weighing?

He is 8½ months old now and around 116 lbs. His brother is easily 30 lbs heavier (not sure what he's being fed but I'm sure it's not healthy and my pup isn't going anywhere near it) and both of his parents are pretty large; Mom is 175 lbs and Dad is 215 lbs.

What do you have your pup on? and how old was he when you switched him to adult food? Im getting mixed reviews on the type of food and when to switch.

I have him on Nutro Natural Choice. I had gotten the ok from our vet to switch him over to the adult formula after he reached 100 lbs. It's really worked great for him. Occasionally I'll mix plain yogurt, rice cooked in chicken or beef broth, or raw egg in his dry food just to switch it up a little for him. :)

Wow really Nutro thats what I have my Bulldog on but I got my Mastiff on Orijen but its super expensive....The new thing Im hearing is two switch Mastiffs to adult food at like 12 weeks but I think 100lbs makes more sense but Im unsure.

Really? 12 weeks? That seems so soon! My pup still had itty, bitty baby teeth. We've had our rottie on Nutro since he was a puppy so we just kept it simple. Been great food for our kiddos.

I agree with u 100% but this is what the top breeders are saying...THe breeder I got my dog from has been switching them at 12 weeks and her dogs look great so Im thinking a should follow her advice but am still hesitant

wow.. I think I have the worlds smallest mastiff on my hands, lol. She is 9 weeks old and weighs 10 lbs. Mom was 130 and dad was 160 (supposedly). AKC reg. (although still waiting on papers to prove that).

My female EM weighed in at 18 lbs at nine weeks. I currently have her on giant breed adult food and she's done fine.

I put my girl on adult food when I got her at 11.5 weeks. She's a Neo/Bullmastiff (or maybe EM lol), I didn't have her at 9 wks but at 11 weeks she was 21lbs.
