Looking for Fila expert Resource! (Breeder or experienced owner)

Hello, all! I haven't been on the Mastiff forums for awhile, as my work schedule, and mod-ing a couple of mastiff FB groups has been taking up quite a lot of time. I shall try to do better!

Anyway, on Mastiff Central, we are presenting a 'Meet The Breed' series profiling mastiffs and molosser breeds our members are interested in. One of the most mentioned was the Fila. Hence we are looking for a breeder or owner who (with my help, if needed) could write up a short piece about the Fila, which could cover: MEET THE ____________(Breed)
INTRODUCTION:
n Kind of mastiff or molosser breed, country of origin, what, if anything, it is particularly known for/used for.
n History
n An overall description of the physical appearance of the breed, including height, weight , acceptable colours, and any characteristics that are unique to the breed
n Temperament – pluses and minuses; uniqueness’s & quirks the author has experienced; what an owner needs to be prepared for.
n What the author loves/likes most about the breed.
n Registries/organisations that recognise the breed. Links to the standards , with explanations if they differ. For example Fila’s, I believe, are recognised by both CAFIB and FCI which are breeding somewhat differing ‘types’.
[FONT=&quot]Tips and ‘red flags’ in searching for a breeder.

This would run for a week, and might entail answering some questions that I could pass along.

We are NOT attempting to steal members, and will be happy to acknowledge the Mastiff Forum as an excellent resource for the various breeds! If anyone is interested in helping, you can PM me or email: klc@klcassociates.com.

Cheers
Karen
