Left my Corso for a few days

My parents watched Leo for a few days while we were on vacation. He was exceptionally behaved.

My previous dog, Chocolate Lab, would walk around the house after us leaving him for vacation like he had done something wrong and he wanted to make it up to us.

Leo is quite the opposite. He has been walking around like he wants us to regret leaving him.

Anyone else experience anything like this with there mastiff's? Just wondering.

We just returned home (this morning) from vacation. Parker went absolutely nuts, wiggling like crazy. Jax made his rounds and made sure everyone was accounted for and he's been stuck to me like glue every since. I opened my suitcase to get some things out and Jax climbed in it. I think he was trying to tell me that I'm not leaving him next time!

That sounds more like what my Lab would do. Leo, who has never been destructive before, seems all of a sudden more destructive, more stubborn, and more out of sorts. After a few days, he seems to be coming back into his usual self, but it is interesting how different his perception of things seems to be.

Some dogs get confused and maybe he lost some trust in you, but it should resolve pretty soon. They have a short memory for stuff like this!
