Hey all,
I am curious as to what dog food manufacturers a LARGE kibble size, 5-star + dog food. Doesn't have to be grain free. Any body? Thanks!!

Orijen's kibble was definitely bigger than the Earthborn I'm feeding now, but I doubt you'd consider it "large".

well Acana makes a Chicken and Burbank Potato that seems bigger from what I can feel....but worried it might be too rich...Can't do the orijen..too rich for my EM. :(

The largest kibble I was able to find a few years ago was Solid Gold's Wolf King.

Not sure where it scores on stars or ingredients... we used it as a low-cal "treat" for all-day use at tailgates - playing "catch the treat" kept both kids and dogs occupied for hours!

Canidae has pretty decent sized kibbles. I would not necessarily say they are a large die cut, but I never had issues with my Great Dane eating it. They have both grain free and grain inclusive options. I found this food a good quality when Orijen and Taste of the Wild were both a little too rich for my last dog.

I want to say Innova also had decent sized kibbles, but it has been a long time and I could be fuzzy on that.

I have considered Merrick, but I am worried that it will be too rich for my EM. Just curious, but what recipe in the merrick that has the largest kibble?

Looking for the same thing, i.e., high quality grain free dry food in a large kibble. Have used EVO red meat large bite with good results. However, they're on their second recall and I am now looking for a replacement. I just bought Merrick Grain Free Texas Beef. The kibble size is too small and my dogs are swallowing most of them. Thanks for the tip on Fromm, which I was just about to buy. Felt one of the Earthborn varieties through the bag and the kibble was smaller than Merrick's. I've narrowed it down to Now Grain Free Large Breed. Don't have it yet and will post results. Interesting that there's not a lot of information re kibble size and it's importance. Small kibbles that are swallowed cause digestion issues and may even contribute to bloat in some breeds. There is also the missed benefit of teeth cleaning from chewing the kibble. I look forward to other suggestions and comments.
