Kid Help

heres a little background just in case anyone forgot or wasnt here at the time I got Walker.

First off as a puppy (maybe 4-5 mths) he was scared by a group of kids on bicycles they came up scaming yelin and tormenting him (alll the time when I was walking him). FInally about a year and a half he was mostly bombproof around kids, he still is picky about them but not scared and aggressive. By 5 he loved kids.

Now Monday he got terrified of kids again when one went jumping over his back screaming when he was laying down relaxing at the park. Now we are back to the fearful aggression of pretty much any kid besides our two. Hes even uneasy around Connor these days. Yesterday Connor and his friend were playing in the driveway and Walker was on our porch. I was with him and tried to get him to associate kids with food/good things again. It didnt work this time he wasnt interested in what I was giving him when he sat and was watching them or anything. Im not comfortable with any kid besides our own to be near him now to even do the food thing.

I looked on the ABRI site and EVERY video uses a Gentle Leader. I refuse to use one. I would much rather use a prong then a gentle leader because with his weight Im worried about it snapping his neck back he is very forceful and showed HUGE improvements when we use a prong. I do not have one and cant afford one right now though and cant afford the training books, sooooooo Im asking here for any opinions on what to do with him and how to solve this.
