Jade limping again!

I think I actually see some progress today. She has walked around the small front yard with no limp at all. Then went out back to the end of the fence, 120 feet and on the way back started to limp again. I will definitely restrict her walks until this is resolved.

Well I am still going to make another appointment for her next week. Her breeder/trainer wants to come along and see what the Vet has to say.

Me too SC. Today she is right in the middle, has some limp but not as bad as it was. I keep trying to get a video to post up but she will not let me.

Well just closed out a small market account I had stashed away just in case Jade needs something expensive. Just a couple grand but I feel better knowing I will have access to it just in case.

Thanks all, I think we finally are seeing some improvement so I am going to wait until the Rimadryl is finished at the end of the week and see how she walks when she is off of it.

Such a soulful face. Joint issues are the worst-- so many guesses and "wait and see" periods...frustrating!

Anyway, sending healing thoughts from NYC.

By the way, I love her black toenails---they look almost polished. :)

Well called the Vets and am waiting for a call back. She had gotten much better then this morning she seems to be worse.
Not sure if this video will embed but I wonder if anyone can tell what part of the leg the limp is coming from?

Just a guess, but I would say the right front lower leg (wrist or carpus).

Good luck with the vet appointment. Have they done x-rays yet?

No X-Rays yet. Waiting to hear back from Vet to see if they want to extend the pain meds or bring her in. She has improved but then went right back to limpy.
