Agador's Dad
New Member
Hello! As my name implies, I'm the owner of a Fila puppy we happily named Agador Spartacus. He's almost 6 mo old, and is growing fast! He can be a handful at times, and a joy at others. Sometimes, I swear he purposely disobeys just to get yelled at.
His mother was a rescued, beautiful brindle, who still has a great fear of people. His father is a tan with black muzzle who will walk up, and say, "Hi," then leave you be, as long as you're properly greeted by his owner. Our dog, for the most part, has never known a stranger, until a few days ago, where he's started to be a bit more leery of strangers. He will emit a low growl, and shy away from those he has not previously met.
When we go on walks to our favorite field, he loves to run, and sniff, and wants to follow all manner of scents, but will still make sure he can see his people, and tends to stay within 20 feet of us. He loves to chew, and play tug-o-war with his toys, or a choice stick.
Some may say he's not Fila, and to be honest, I don't care. He's already woken my gf up when her Grandmother fell in the middle of the night, so as far as I'm concerned, he's already proven his worth.
I know they, they can be a challenge, which is why I joined these forums, and I look forward to any advice your experience has taught you! And, since I know I'll be asked, here are a few pics.
