Introducing my dogs

I just read and replied your private message, how small this world can be!

I like the dog very much, to my opinion she comes close to an autenthic fila the way they used to be in the past. But she is not easy to handle...

She is extreme stubborn, watchful, dominant, "agressive" to other dogs, etc. We can't take her with us to places where other dog are cause she completely flips/turns by. She has a big attitude! But we are working on it. My wife calls her "lola" sometimes because of a song "whatever lola wants... lola gets...." If she wants something, she does everything and more to get it. To our other dogs she is dominant and a bitch in the worst way, trying to get between them and us if there is affection. Trying to steal their food, riding on them like she is a male and pulling up her lip showing her teeth. When our alano plays with our fila male, she grabs the alano cause she wants to play. When our alano is not busy she is less tough cause the alano plays tirelessly hard and ruthless.

She can be verry sweet to us, but also is independant and in itself. She is and extreme good guard dog (we find important) , clever, lots of energy but a big mouth

Try to explain it right but my english is not to good :)

explained it perfectly. Glad youre enjoying her but I am surprised to hear about the dog agression. her grand mother and mother are both extremely dominant females... extremely. and her sister that lives here is also extremely dominant so it seems to have transfered across the board. Im glad that the temperament has transfered as well but im really not all that surprised as that has been across the board as well. congrats on your bitch and im glad you and your wife are happy with her.

We guess the dog agression is caused by an accident she had when she was little: My wife took our male and our 10/12 weeks old puppy female for a walk. She walked into an esacaped aggresive german shepperd. This dog tried to attack our female but failed cause our male grabbed him by the head just in front of her. Our dogs were on the leash while the shepperd wasn't. Before this shocking scene our female also had a big mouth but afterwards she became aggresive to other dogs especially (german) shepperds or dogs who look a like. We quess that's it cause we have the same thing with our male, an american stafford growled at our alano (his lovely bitch), at this time he hates that dogs so much he is hardly to keep on the leash when he sees them at any distance. Our female wetry to train on a possitive way. It takes a lot of time but we make a little progression. When we see another dog we try to get her attention with dog candy (peaces of dried meat) and it works. If dogs come to close it goes wrong but we make little positive steps the wright way ;)

I also got from my wife a picture of another related dog you might like to watch. The light brindled dog is a brother of our male, the dark brindled is a daughter of the beautifull Baoba!

Jade Do Pantanal (Palestra Da Serra de Itanhandu X Tigre Da Serra de Itanhandu) X Baoba De El Cariduro (Arena Da Serra de Itanhandu X Unifila Serras de Minas Sepe)

To me Baoba is the most beautifull Fila male I've seen in a long time but the female appeals to me less. This 6 months old puppy on the other hand seems to become a beauty!

you know that Baoba and Boya are litter mates, right? Yes Baoba is a very striking male.. his coloring is very eye catching. The pedigree (BaobaXJade) is which dog in this picture?

Yes I knew they are brother and sister. The dark one in front is a daughter of Baoba. Also found somewhere a movie of Baoba, I 'll check it out
