I noticed this also. I have a friend with a sheep dog & his tail was docked way too short, much shorter than your pup, & he has issues. Achilles is very handsome though.

Great looking pup! congrats. In regards to the tail, I know when Stella was going through growth spurts her tail would grow quickly and the skin on the tip of it would stretch and cause her some irritation. If you notice him bitting at his tail I would put some ointment on the tip.
