Ugh. What the hell does "abnormal results from the neuro" mean...in terms of not really being a big deal? How are you feeling about all of this, ab? I feel confused...
SJ just cleared it up for us. I think this is the happiest I have been in 2 days. I know we are not out of the woods but I was so worried about the abnormal......:)

Keep your head up AB, we all have your back and keeping you in our thoughts! Sweet Justice will be fine! I love how all my favorite people on here come out of the wood work when there is a crisis, this is such a special place, just feels like family. I will still be keeping you in my prayers even though I am not on as much anymore lately. Stay strong

Ahh, okay. I have a feeling everything is going to be okay in the end, I really do. Bless you for doing the absolute best for your sweet boy--- something happened, but it looks like it may be tangential to a full-blown seizure issue. You must be feeling such a relief!

SJ, THANK YOU. You don't know what a load you just took off my mind. The vet said it was not worrisome but when it is on the neuro report. I got worried. Our student vet was very good but their was a language barrier and he couldn't quite find the words to say what you did. I'm thrilled. His Palpebral was normal on both sides. YES!!!!
So glad I could give you a small drop of relief in this whole awful ordeal! I know how terrible it is to be so worried about your baby. Good to hear he's keeping his food down now. Hang in there!

Just did some quick reading and it looks like "Cranial Nerves" and the specific numerals called out pertain to different areas. I.E. Cranial nerve II is the Optic Nerve. Cranial nerve VII is the Facial nerve. I've been keeping tabs on this thread... Very, sorry to hear about this all and hoping something great happens in the near future... Thoughts are with you guys.
I thought I had lost my "forum crush" :)

Thank you for the research. With this info I now kind of understand what it is saying.

Okay, I'm a little bummed. This was not mentioned in our meeting but I found this on the neurological eval:I subjectively thought the mandibles felt a little thick and rough although that may be normal for this age and breed. Seizures and interictal cranial nerve deficit suggest a structural cause for the seizure, including Hydrocephalus or other congenital brain abnormality.

On a good note we just spent time with Justice. We fed him some chicken and rice, then went for a potty break. He loves his time outside. We came back in and we all got on the floor and had a good time playing. Kismet was very concerned about her little man. They had to shave a spot on his foreleg to put his cath. she wasn't to happy about that. We all played until I felt he may be getting over stimulated. Sweet boy went back in his crate without complaint. He is such a good boy. I may deserve this but Justice doesn't. He potty trained with very little effort. Crate trained, zero complaints. Gator mouth, well okay that is his one downfall. I will update in the morning. I think I'm ready to crash. We are to be back at A&M by 7am. Hopefully, we will have more answers around noon. I appreciate the good will and prayers. One more night and day please. :)

Still sending tons of good thoughts. The mention of hydrocephalus is interesting because I see no indication of that whatsoever. I volunteer at the shelter and this girl is there now. She's hydrocephalic and several months older than Justice, but it was apparent when she was small. I don't see any of that with Justice. I thought I'd post it for anyone that hasn't seen a hydrocephalic dog.

Wow. Clearly that picture didn't resize or photobucket is slow to update. I also wanted to mention that the dog above is a staffy mix, so not a tiny dog. She's decently sized.

Good morning, Mr. Justice had a very good night and a good ride into A&M. We checked him in and got to speak with very handsome, very competent neoro doc. While I'm worried, I'm really happy with his vet. We all sat on the floor, played with Justice and he answered all the questions we had. No real answers to our questions but if any place can find what is causing them and fix it. This is it! We are not sure what time he will have his MRI, hopefully with in the next hour. I will post when I know more. Unfortunately, the doc said that hydrocephalic is still a condition that is on the table for Justice. Thank you for the picture, if Justice does have water on the brain it can't be very damn much. Don't know if that changes the prognosis any. Thanks everyone.
