It dropped today but it is at the base of his penis it looks super painful I got an appointment with the vet but he just keeps telling me to get him neutered

Hmm Hard to tell by the photo but at one point I thought my Hank had 4 testes and it turns out there are some prominent muscles at the base the help hold the penis in place and are more apparent when erect.

Kind of awkward, but could you get a better photo? There are some normal structures that could look similar to that, and that's not really somewhere a testicle would typically drop to....

You can google bulbourethral glands to see if that's what it looks like on your dog....just be sure to include dog in the search title, lol.

I don't know I've been massaging the area for weeks now and never once saw it that big and now it's gone and I can't feel it anymore. It started on the side at the base of the penis then to the back and then it was bone and Moose wasn't erect

Sort of funny but all I can say is keep massaging it and try to move it to the back where it belongs. The girl i date sometimes says it's either this or surgery. Having been a victim of a torsion teste myself I can tell you it is rather painful for that but I don't know if it is the same.

I've had a torsion myself my only reservation is weather or not he's too young cause I think either way we're gonna have the surgery and he's not breedable anyways and I don't want him to have blader problems or anything like that

Honestly I'm hoping it drops to atleast the area because surgery cost doubles once they have to go into the stomach
