Humorous and cute story (or at least I think so)

Here is a picture from today of Odin and Zander with their new bandannas from their dogwalker! Funny story behind their dogwalker, who is a 70 year old woman. She is a friend of my Mom who was introduced to me when I moved back to Wisconsin in 2014. She's an avid dog lover who often rehabilitates dogs locally from shelters until they find a suitable owner. My mom told this lady, Bonnie, about my dog and her being a dog owner and lover, was interested in meeting Odin. She eventually met Odin and fell in love with him, offering to walk him if I ever needed while I was attending school. It wasn't necessary for her to offer as before getting Odin I knew the responsibility of exercising and interaction daily that's needed from myself personally, but definitely would help me out in regards to more overall stimulation, socialization and exercise. So I took her up on her offer and we set up a date for her to walk Odin. During that time period before her date, she met with Odin multiple times until herself and I were comfortable with everyone's interaction and familiarity. Now keep in mind, Odin at the time was still fairly immature(didn't really reach his maturity until 2 years), but still was size fairly close to what he is now(probably 120lbs at that time), not neutered, and a breed that is fairly intimidating visually if you aren't comfortable and familiar with dogs, especially an unfamiliar breed such as the presa canario. So the day came that Bonnie would walk Odin at a time where I would be at school. She came over, unlocked our door, and Odin who at the time was familiar with just my roomate and myself coming home, was at the door wagging his tail for a split second. As soon as Odin saw Bonnie, who probably weighs around 100lbs and is an 80 year old woman mind you, came to the realization that it was not me and bolted for the kitchen with his tail in between his legs, figuratively. She could hear Odin then growling from the kitchen. Bonnie having been experienced with a wide range of dogs and personalities amazingly spent the next twenty minutes coaxing Odin from the kitchen back to the door where Odin eventually realized who it was and that she was of no threat. I and others found it pretty humorous that this 120lbs presa canario who in part was purchased for home protection(besides the obvious main point of being a companion), was afraid of this little old woman that weighed less than him. Since that day though Odin and Bonnie are best friends that see each other weekly. She now insists on walking Odin and our other dog Zander, often announcing she misses the two and needs to see them. My girlfriend and I often come home now to holiday themed bandannas on our two dogs! Sorry for the long post but hoped you enjoyed! (sorry for the double post if you've read my thread on the introduction page, would like to become involved in the presa community on here primarily!)
