your dog sure is beautiful my puppy is a tosa inu bull mastiff mix and is now 5 months old and weighs in at 65 lbs which i am told is normal the vet estimates her weight to be around 130 lbs or more he thinks there may be dane in there to on the dads side so she is going to be big he tells us good thing she listens really well to us

AW! Precious!!! That is a fun mix. It is kind of entertaining not knowing what Fiona is, but annoying hahah. We just got back from camping today and she spent the weekend with a good friend of ours who stayed at our house with the dogs..... she was visibly larger so I weighed her! 19weeks and 46lbs! My guess is that she is slowing down though.... but entertaining how we have NO clue how big she WILL be! ;) Tosa Ken Katie, I will have to look to see if you have pictures of your pup posted- adorable I bet! :-D

Funny thing is we only get a few people in public that will ask if she is part pitbull and then we get a BUNCH of random guesses- Mastiff, Lab, Shar pei, Weimereiner... it's funny! And on the Pitbull forum- LOTS of them guessed Pit/Mastiff (little do they know how many mastiffs there really are) lol WHO KNOWS! I just think it's entertaining.

Hello! I'm new to this forum and I thought what a perfect way to begin! I have a 10 month old 3/4 cane corso & 1/4 American bulldog female. At 9 weeks when I got her she was 23 pounds and now she is roughly 110 pounds and still growing :) she is 27 inches at the withers ( two months ago she was 96 pounds- I'll have to update that when we go back to the vet)
She is evidently a mastiff, specifically cane corso or presa looking although I get people asking me if she is a pit, dane or boxer quite frequently
Fiona looks to be mixed with pit I'd say following her growth patterns and coloring. As assumed at 7 months would be well over 40 pounds, my girl was close to 75 at 6 months
She also has webbed toes:)

Did you do a DNA test? I don't think those are that accurate... I wouldn't think a female mix of those 3 breeds would have that kind of size... Chow 17-20" Golden 21.5-22.5" or Lab 21.5-23.5", Am Staff 17-18"... and I wouldn't think it would get up to 80lbs either.

We did do a DNA test. It was a different retriever....a hunting retriever with a more broad and structured build, that ran between 24-27 for height. I questioned it too because of that but a bully and retriever make perfect sense to me.... Visually and behavior. Whether those are exact, who knows.... But pretty close for them not even seeing her or anything. It's not like it was chihuahua, shephard or something lol then I would be very sceptical.

And she is probably closer to 25.5 lol she doesn't stand still long. When playing with labs and retriever breeds at the park she is very close to the same size just more muscular and more agile. Most people ask if she is all lab. lol silly people. ;)

I have a so called Cane Corso. He's 18 weeks and about 35 lbs. He's not a breed quality at all & my husband is convinced we got screwed & got a Pitbull Cane Mix. He is blue white patch on his chest, chin, & paws. He doesn't have the cane corso boxy face & has a longer snout. I'm keeping him regardless I just want to know what he is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a male EM...these are off the top of my head, but we got picked him up between the 10th and 11th week of age and he was ~27lbs..(heavy little sucker I thought! LOL). At 16 weeks I think he was around 65 lbs and yesterday at ~28 weeks...he was 105lbs.

Thanks he's a sweetie I was hoping not pit but I'm starting to think so too! I got screwed & he's papered as a cane I don't know how they did that. Oh well I'm not giving him up he's the biggest lover & great with my son.

dont get me wrong...I'm no CC expert by any means! LOL But the pictures I have looked at of CC's have wider heads/muzzles and look pretty heavy for puppies. We got the same thing with our Boston Terrier...supposedly purebred but we have been told many, she's not. Doesn't really matter because we love the heck our of her!

I agree his face isn't that wide & boxy face. That's okay I love him to death I just learned my lesson on Canes & be sure to personally know the breeder.

When we got our EM (Capone) he was 8 weeks old and just about 20 lbs. He is now 15 weeks old and is 47 lbs. Most recent picture:
