How big is your dog's head?

Stonewall was feeling needy after our trip to the river and climbed up to sit next to my husband on the couch. I was struck by the fact that at 11 months on Monday Stonewall's head is WAY bigger than my husband who wears an XL hat! Has anyone else had one of those OMG, my dogs head is bigger than mine!! Moments.

Call Kona fat head. I was looking at her yesterday. Something out the windw caught her attention so she was standing tall. I said out loud, "My God this dog's a monster"

Has anyone seen actual measurements of Dogue de Bordeaux or English Mastiff heads? Just curious how big they have gotten. Maybe even Boerboel should be up there.

Our Boerboel will be 6 months next week so still has much growing ahead of her. She weighed in at 90 lbs last week at the vet. I can’t believe how big she is (head and body) compared to the Red/Rust male Dobermans we had at full maturity. Happy to measure her now- any certain way? I’ll research on the web. The picture of Daisy is on June 28th
after a run.

Beautiful pics! Look at that head! We’ve still got some growing to do on our end. Daisy still long and lanky. Stubborn and independent. I’m really starting to understand this Mastiff breed. I sooo appreciate reading all the threads on this Forum. Happy Tuesday from our Boerboel family.
