I really don't want him on narcotics or steroidal drugs. We will stick with the aspirin and glucosamine supplements for as long as we can.

Carprofen/Rimadyl is actually an NSAID...just an fyi - not trying to push medication. I myself don't like my dogs being on meds, but I do like to have stuff on hand just in case!

I'm glad he's doing better!
