Hold me......

.....I need some attention. I am sure that y'all are about tired of seeing pictures of Ruger but until I banned for going over my photo Quota, I will continue to share. LOL Ruger sleeps the majority of the day away in my office everyday but he has an occasion where he wants a little attention and today was one of them. He has a habit of climbing up and sitting in my lap but obvious that is not possible in my office chair so he manages to get himself as twisted around me as possible instead. :) View attachment 21691View attachment 21692View attachment 21693

That "hold me" moment, is that a Mastiff thing or do other dogs have it? Zeke just has these moments where he needs/wants to be held. I've never known another dog need it/want it. Yeah, they want attention, but to be held...that's a new one on me.

I thin it must be a Mastiff thing because no other dog I have ever had has done it. I know exactly what you are talking about. Ruger NEEDS to sit in my lap. He will not stop until he gets to. He is hilarious!

I think it is a mastiff thing Thor did and from an early age and still now Stone tries to, I've yet to experience it with any dog either.

Thor was 200lbs and still never realized it. Though all admit he was "gentle" with stuff. If he came to a canyon of obstacles he's quietly work his way around them ever so gently, without even touching them, but we he hugged it always had meaning.

Just keep beating that dead horse!

UMM excuse me.. That is not a mastiff and it doesnt look like he is holding it with that stick either...

Kris, before we were so rudely interupted where were we? Oh yes, rugers is absolutely adorable and no, I don't think mastiff's ever learn their size. One can hope that at least they stop stepping on your feet once they top 22lbs tho..

LOL! Beating a dead horse is .....You know what, I am going to leave that alone. Thanks, he is something else, for sure. It is cute when they are only 100 pounds? I guess it depends on how much you weigh. He is 170+ pounds (I need to get a new weight on him) and already outweighs me by 45 pounds at least, but doesn't hesitate to sit in my lap. I can only imagine how much fun that will be when he tops 200 pounds.

Yes and hard not to get pulled into it....LMAO. Ruger was 170 pounds in February when I weighed him on his birthday. I am sure that he has gained a bit since then but I don't know how much.
 So hard not to laugh......off topic I know sorry.

Kris Ruger is 170LBS NOW!!! Wow and he's still not done.

I haven't measured him in a LONG time. Last I did (Several months ago) he was 32' at the shoulder. I have promised my self that I will get him measured and weighed within the next week.
How tall is he now? I haven't weighed Stone either Last time he was roughly 100lbs at 11 months soak and wet.

I've never measured max, that's kinda gross but last time I checked his height he was about 33 inches tall. He's right there with Ruger in weight but also a month older if I remember correctly.

Yeah, He has only just begun to fill out so he is far from done. His dad was a trim 260 pounds and 35' at the shoulder and I am beginning to think that Ruger may reach that, too. Yeah, he definitely has a "personality". LOL We are two peas in a pod when it comes to that stuff......
That's a nice size boy that's for sure, with a personality just for you:)

Oh My! I should have seen that coming. LMAO I am sure that Ruger is taller than 32' at this point since it has been so long since I measured HIS HEIGHT!! I know without a doubt that he has gained weight but I don't want to guess since that just wouldn't be fait to him, would it? :)Ruger turned a year old February 18th. When did Max hit one year?
