Oh my goodness! Kris I am so excited for you!! How are you going to be able to stand waiting until July?!? I seriously think I am gonna have to take you up on making a visit this summer! LOL!!!

Dumb question here. Are harls born with little markings & acquire them as they get older, like Dalmatians? Or are they born with all of their markings? I'm just wondering if your new baby will have more spots pop up on him as he grows.

Not a dumb question at all. No when Harls are born they pretty much have their "fingerprint" markings. Sometimes the markings will change as the pups get a little older ( markings stretch or recede or can change color)

Isn't he? I do tend to get the biggest giants. This "little" guy is not so little. At one week, he was bigger than the breeders foot and the guy wears a size 15 shoe!!! These babies are something else!Isn't it an awesome heart?

I didn't catch your question, Raechie. Glad that DD answered for me but I did ask that question to the breeder and his answer was the same as DD. This "little" guy has another black spot by his back leg.

One more photo that shows his size better. I was holding him. This is him today at 12 days. He is a chunky little thing!
