Hazel won't stop biting my hands

I understand puppies are teething and all but I don't feel hand nibbling is a good habit and she does it a lil too hard it doesn't hurt reallllly bad but its defly not comfortable and once she starts she like won't stop unless I hide my hands. I tried raising my voice a lil or even a gentle pinch to the side of the neck like the dog whisperer does. This only entices her more. I read in my mastiff book that mstiffs don't react well to agression so I'm not sure what to do.

I read somewhere to act like it hurts a hell of a lot worse than it does to startle them and if they think they are hurting you they will stop....and the lady at the pet store said to spray apple bitter on my hands and she won't do it cause she won't like the taste. I'm curious of the effectiveness of these before I try them. Any other suggestions?

BTW I even tried buying her a bone with beef flavor filling she will bite it for a second then go back to my hands.

btw if it helps she is an english mastiff and is 5.5 months old.

I have a rescued two year old Cane Corso who was never taught that hand-nibbling is an undesirable habit. :) Generally, it did work for her when I pulled my hands away, or stopped playing, or made her sit and stay (which she knows means she needs to calm down and be good). However, when she gets really excited, it does seem to help if I yelp loudly. Your dog doesn't want to hurt you, and they understand yelping means pain.

I did prolly the worst yelp impression of my life and she stopped immeadiatley this morning. She is very gentle nd doesn't even try to hunt so I imagine this should defly work. I'm gonna do it everytime she nibbles even if its very gentle so shelearns not to do it period. Thx.
