I enjoyed Mooshi's Mommy's tale of the Swamp monster so much that I thought it might be fun and informative to have members report on the great walking areas in their communities.
We have a terrific area called Dorchester Mill Pond just outside London. It's 2.8 miles of hill-and-dale trails skirting the edge of the conservation's mill pond.
Yesterday we took Bailey for her third walk there and even though she's tiny still, she's mighty of spirit and she managed to finish the whole walk with only two water breaks. It was a fun day.
And it was a tiring day, too, for both humans and puppies.
We crashed and had great doggie dreams.
If I were to rate this walk for how much energy you need to expend it would be a solid seven out of ten. Scenery and wildlife would be a ten out of ten. Bring your camera and wear great walking shoes, I really meant it about the "hill-and-dale" part.
Sorry I don't have more pictures, but I only had my camera phone with me.
I'm looking forward to hearing about great scenic walks in your communities.
